My name is Yuki, and I graduated from University of San Francisco last year with the degree of Business Administration Accounting. In business school I have learned a little bit of everything about business, and I have learned how to connect dots and how to convert ideas to some good business plans. However, I wanted to become an entrepreneur, and I was hoping that being more specific on a helpful skillset could be the next stop for me to go. I want to create my own business, and I do think creating an App, Website and Branding , specifically for dog boarding or pet related service would be something I’d interested in for decades.
After I got my degree, I was a little bit lost, so I spent a year to find myself. I knew I was going to be a business person, but I had no idea what exactly a ‘business person’ was, and I didn’t know what kind of business I wanted to start with. After this one year break I realized that I can only create something good if I have a good understanding of this specific area. Business is more like a bridge to connect people and product, and business itself worth nothing if there is no product. I think web design and UI/UX concentrate might be a good fit for me.
Today people’s time are getting more valuable, and people are less patient. It might only take a few seconds for people to delete an APP just because they couldn’t find the home bottom in the App. Sometimes people are frustrated about complexity. I believe UI/UX is the secret ingredient on making the job more efficient for people. I have about 10 favorite Apps in my phone that I need to deal with every single day, and it is always a pleasure to use those apps with brilliant UX designs, and it would be even better if the UI is beautiful. Most of time what I distinguished good and the bad apps is really all about details.
I am extremely happy that here is the path for me to become an all-around type of entrepreneur. I am expecting myself to be as specific as possible on designing study for the next a few years and I will seek every possible opportunity to kick off my own business in the near future.
